Mondays . . . .

Mondays always come with mixed emotions. Getting back to work or in my case taking a break . . . starting a new week or recovering from the last! I love Mondays. I have two discipleship classes I have the great honor and privilege of conducting! I am able to slow down from the weekend and reflect upon what God has done!
This weekend we had our lady bug tea party and soldier scavenger hunt! I can't promise anything, but I hope to provide pictures and pdf files of what we did so if you want to, you can use some ideas for your own lady bug tea party! It was a HUGE success! There were lady bugs flying everywhere on Saturday, as well as red glitter and enough tulle to wrap around the world 3 times I'm sure! I wouldn't trade anything . . . it was a TON of fun, but more than that several little girls went home with the knowledge that God wants them to be a lady like the Proverbs 31 lady and that they can start now! Some even went home and immediately started asking their moms to teach them to sew! I thoroughly enjoyed myself but I was saddened at the same time. We simply are NOT teaching our children the things they need to learn to be the lady and gentlemen God wants them to become! Parents do NOT regulate that to government schools - they are failing miserably and on a large scale! Don't think that because you have put them in a good christian education whether it be christian school or christian home school that they are going to be fine. God has given YOU the responsibility to teach your children. But then the problem comes in, if you don't know it, you can't teach it. Get out there and learn. Get books, take a cooking class, do whatever it takes to be able to teach your children. Expect your children to be better than you because you have started teaching them sooner than you were taught. Unfortunately humanity is getting worse and worse but with Christ in our hearts and lives we ought to teach our children that they ought to be getting better and better. Let them and teach them to build upon the foundation you are laying for them and then DO NOT despise them or criticize them when they make better decisions than you made! Be happy that God is doing such a great work in your life, through your life, and in the life of your precious child!
